The 2 pre-reformation bells from St. Helens Church being taken to be
retuned. The 18th century bell was recast by Messrs. John Taylor and Co.,
Loughborough.  It is believed that one of these bells was made by John
Potter of York between 1360 and 1380.

19th September, 1951 The Rector dedicates the
bells prior to them being installed in the belfry.
Recasting, adjustments, and the peal cost £1,596.00

the organ, which was dedicated by the Bishop of
Pontefract on 28th October, 1951

The organ cost £650. to build
Inside church - A new alter frontal was presented in 1951
in memory of Dennis Williams a pupil of West End School
who was killed in a road accident. The cloth was made at
House of Mercy, Horbury.
